Embarking on clinical placements at the RVI has been an amazing opportunity for me. Throughout this experience, I've had the privilege of having meaningful and in-depth conversations with patients whilst gathering histories, and providing pharmaceutical/lifestyle advice to optimise holistic care. These hands-on encounters have not only allowed me a valuable insight into the intricacies of healthcare delivery and NHS policies, equipping me with a comprehensive understanding of the broader healthcare landscape, but they have deepened my understanding of clinical pharmacy in hospital practice. The supportive and welcoming environment has fueled my passion for ensuring the well-being of patients through effective and empathetic pharmaceutical care.
