Kicked off in early 2018 and finally launched in Summer 2020; it was a tough journey to enable 5G in PC field. It was a collaboration with Telco, BD, region 4P, even local tech teams to secure all protocol enabled in town, esp in European countries. Thisproduct was successfully launched and earned reputations for Lenovo with lots of awards on IFA 2021/2022

Product Operation (PO) focal to be the BU contact window of GEO. 2015/03-2016/07 PRC GEO, Consumer and Commercial Notebook.2016/07-2016/12 Lartin America GEO, Consumer NB.2016/04-2018/04 North America GEO, Consumer NB, incl. Gaming. 2018/04-2019/10 North America GEO, Consumer DT, incl. Gaming DT.To be the role of PO, cowork with Geo team to ensure product launch/transition and promotion seasons/events. Connect all the backend teams(R&D, ODM, designers, supply chain, ...) to support all GEO requirements.When took care of LA, also support Brazil. Support Brazil local-build business, cowork with manufacturing/certification/leagal/finance/... teams to make sure new product local build in Brazil.Twice rotation in Lenovo US in July 2019 and Aug 2016 as a product manager. Manage Geo product portfolio and roadmap, give advice on business model for North America retailers. Know it well of the consumer NB/DT market in NA and the retailer/channel business mode. Know it well of burst deal process and business details. NA is a leading PC market in the world, esp Gaming PC, Chromebook PC, Convertible 2-in-1 PC, Touch panel offering and all leading technology, such as DCC, 5G, Smart PC, sustainability, ect.

Ruby is experienced in business Operation. Professional in product lifecycle management/product or commodity transition management. Strategic thinking in planning, skilled communication. Lenovo consumer PC (NB & DT) global product operations- Key commodities deal management. Today SMB0 CPU deal is a general game in consumer/SMB businrss, but before 2009 there was just some instant deals when CPU/storage vendors wanted to consume the N-1 or those last inventories. In 2009 to 2011, Ruby worked for Michael Su and supported Michael to set up the N-1 CPU deal and HDD/Ram deal game rule. This rule built up the following N-1 play business in next decade. - Manage consumer NB long term forecast before GEO plan it, to ensure business strategy and overall target. - Product transition management. To manage consumer NB/DT lifecycle and track the transition based on GEO requirements

Ruby is also an expert of GSC process and business with excellent MS office ability.
