I am currently a Biology Ph.D. candidate in the Wolfe lab at Tufts University. My passion for microbiology has motivated my research pursuits, ranging from elucidating protein-protein interactions in fission yeast to investigating the drivers and outcomes of complex microbial communities in food cultures. I hope to translate my passion and technical skills to an industry setting, to promote global health or enhance food/agricultural systems through microbial cultivation and/or engineering. Throughout my scientific journey, I have been honored in mentoring many talented undergraduate and graduate students, and hope to continue nurturing scientific expertise and interest as I continue my career.
