• Researched and Qualified multi-facet suppliers Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Plastics Injection, Metal, Optical and Packaging commodities.• Established supplier development program with Quality (Q), Delivery (D), Cost (C) and Inventory (I) focus.• Coordinate periodic communication with US/Europe factories and suppliers with attention-to-detailed on action plan and project deliverables deadline on assigned projects.• Performed supplier’s quality audit and assessment in conjunction with operating company quality auditor(s) at the suppliers’ facility.• Work with cross-functional team to manage PPV, VAVE and NPD projects using visual management system with 6 Tollgates (TG0 Project identification; TG1 RFQ & Auction Development; TG2 Quotation and Analysis; TG3 Supplier selection & Transition Plan; TG4 Tooling construction & Part Qualification; TG 5 Production Readiness ;TG6 Order fulfillment ) • Negotiates NPD’s Supply Agreement which covers the agreement duration, product(s) exclusivity, favorable payment terms, YOY cost savings, buffers, Kanban, Consignment and Q, D, C & I goal.• Hosted Reversed Auction on commodities where normal course of negotiation is not generating the targeted savings.• Support off-site factories supply chain challenges (Non-conformance claims and OTD expectations) by deploying the PSP (Problem Solving Process) method onto suppliers.• Extend and facilitate VRK (Variation Reduction Kaizen) and SW (Standard Work) to suppliers. • Collaborate with site Buyers/Planners in increasing inventory turns and OTD performance to customers.
