Ranchlands operates a number of cattle and bison ranches across the US with a focus on sustainability and ecological conservation. They place a major emphasis on providing ranch owners with services to make their own businesses more sustainable, helping push the industry to prioritize conservation and preserve American grasslands. •Serve as an educator to guests on local ecology, natural and social history, and ranch management• Perform all duties related to our herd of more than 60 horses, from wrangling them in from pasture inthe mornings to medical care and schooling• Work with my own project horses as well as the horses in the guest string to assess temperament, ridersuitability, and school as necessary to ensure guest safety• Continuously monitor cows and pastures, and move the herd in accordance with our grazing plan• Execute miscellaneous tasks and chores around the ranch from minor tack repairs to cattle work• Curate and lead rides for guests of all experience levels on both our ranch of more than 100,000 acres and within Sand Dunes National Park
