Over the last few years I have been working closely with the leadership team within Coles. From this I have been trained to manage stock rooms, reflect on stock loss indicators and drive sales within the store. I am involved in the rostering systems to focus on financial KPIs and achieving the goals that we set as a store. The experience I have gained working at Coles has increased my leadership skills, enhanced my communication and organisation skills. It's because of my time working as the Store Support assistant that I believe that I have the skills to work in this position. I also believe that it provides me with the room to develop and refine my skills further. When I was working as the Night-Fill manager it was my responsibility to ensure that stock was available to customers, increasing customer satisfaction. I was then promoted to the Duty Manager position where I was trained across all departments, including Customer Service where I processed customer returns and solved problems for customers for a variety of different reasons. I managed the grocery department when the appointed grocery manager was on leave, allowing me to work closely with the team to manage rosters. I also worked closely with company representatives to drive sales and manage the stock room.
