-Assess, treat and assist clients with physical, psycho-emotional and cognitive impairments to achieve optimal functioning at home, work and in the community.-Coordinate hospital discharges and organize community rehabilitative services.-Assess and make recommendations in relation to home accessibility to ensure that clients’ living environments are maximally safe and accessible.-Assess and recommend appropriate assistive devices & equipment to ensure safety and maximum function.-Assess, provide, and implement recommendations in relation to attendant care, housekeeping, caregiving.-Develop and implement neuro-cognitive and functional rehabilitation and remediation programs.-Develop and implement community, leisure, and vocational reintegration programs.-Educate regarding compensatory and restorative strategies to address cognitive, physical and psychological impairments. -Liaise with Adjusters and Lawyers as required to promote client advocacy and progress.-Provide ongoing education to the clients, their families and other relevant members of the team.

I provide mental health counselling and psychotherapy services to clients coping with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, sleep difficulties, and other challenges, as well as clients looking to develop personal resilience. My therapeutic modalities include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), mindfulness meditation instruction, psychoeducation, goal-setting and implementation plans, with an emphasis on building rapport, and supporting clients to develop self-trust. I am engaged in ongoing continuing education and psychotherapy supervision. Clients self-refer or are referred from the community.
