I believe that businesses have the ability to cultivate new and exciting ways of thinking and move away from traditional methods to create solutions to some of the scariest and toughest problems we face across the globe. I want to help influence and be a part of a business world that does not just work in harmony with nature, but actually allows our natural world to thrive. For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in sustainability yet my intrigue in business began while I was undertaking a Diploma in Event Management, where I realised my strengths fall within project management – fostering a team environment which supports one another to reach new potential. I have 2 years of sustainability consultancy experience with a growing U.K based construction company. During these years, I became certified as Carbon Literate and obtained a certificate from Cambridge University in Business Sustainability Management. To continue my professional development journey, I am undertaking a Bachelor of Business at Deakin University, with the aim to major in Sustainability and Development. I am always looking for connections with people who share a similar interest in transforming business as we know it to create shared value, giving back to people and the planet.
