I have been blessed with a curious mind and a love of learning. These qualities have shaped who I am today and where my multi-hyphenate career path has taken me.As a certified Salesforce Business Analyst, I have certifications for the Salesforce Certified Administrator and Applied Certification in Business Analysis (ACBA). I am also the group leader for the Honolulu Nonprofit Salesforce User Group. I work with small to medium nonprofits to help end users transition from spreadsheets to Salesforce for effective data management. I believe successful implementations are a result of understanding the people who will be using the technology. I view my role as a translator between the product owners, users, and the technical team. To strengthen user adoption, I work closely with end users to document business processes and help them translate how their workflows will be impacted by a technology implementation. With the technical team, I clarify business requirements so they can build the right Salesforce solution. In business analysis, we measure twice, cut once. I bring my knowledge to nonprofits from a diverse career path in technology, healthcare, and non-profit industries with skills including Business process analysis, Project management, Product management, and Behavior design. My other interests:I have been fascinated by how people behave and make decisions. This interest led me to the work of Dr. BJ Fogg, a Stanford professor and Behavior Scientist. I am a graduate of his Behavior Design Bootcamp. My current side interests are focused on social impact Workforce Innovation and Future of Work projects: * Past Host of Work Re>Imagined, a ThinkTech Hawaii production focused on the Future of Work * Program Consultant: WorkNet Correctional Arts Re-Entry (CARE) Project for Incarcerated Artists * Project Manager/Consultant: Digital Transitions Program for Incarcerated Women
