Recently started working for Kitsap Printing and Publishing as a, for lack of a better term at the moment, Publishing assistant. I'm able to sit down with authors and work with them on their books, design covers, discuss plans on getting their name out there and promoted! It's been a real blast so far! I've also been learning how to help in the actual process of making the book; not only the layout but how the printer works, and the final details in putting a book together. It's really very fantastic, and it's been a lot of fun so far!

There's a lot of customer service involved in this and working to keep people happy. Even on the roughest of days, being able to get someone to smile makes everything worth it. The job can get a little hectic at times, making things difficult to keep up with but as hard as it can be it's just another challenge to concur.Because of the need for more housekeepers in the hotel, as of the end of July, 2015, I trained as a housekeeper to be able to lend a hand after my shift of Front Desk was over. I am now, currently, switching between the role of a housekeeper and the role of a Front Desk agent in the same week to fill spaces that are needed. I like being useful, and I'm always ready to learn something new to better help my work place.
