I am currently working as a crew member at a different McDonalds where I now work. Although it is a down grade in position (as I was unable to transfer due to the structure of the company), I am still very willing and am successfully transferring my skills that I learnt at my previous place to this new one. The managers have been very welcoming to me and have demonstrated their enthusiasm and thanks to having such an experienced crew member join there team, within such a short time they have also expressed their intention in making me a crew trainer again.

I am currently volunteering at the British Heart Foundation as a customer and merchandising assistant. This involves me helping serve customers at the till, answering any inquiries they may have and also keeping the store clean, tidy and presentable. I really enjoy this because I know I am doing it for a good cause and it has given me a wider range of experience, especially within clothing merchandising which is something that quite intrigues me as I do have an eye for making things look good and feel a lot of reward when something I have done ends up looking great and draws people in to the store

I was a customer assistant which involved me serving customers, ensuring they received all the help they needed and to deliver a pleasant but efficient experience. I undertook cleaning tasks to ensure the store was in a fit shape for the morning workers. I also worked as a team during the shifts, communicating effectively with them when I needed help or to give information around the store to anyone that needed it. I would also occasionally play a role in wasting and checking the stock, during this I learnt a lot about food waste and how to manage stock effectively to help the managers. I developed good relationships with all my colleagues and really enjoyed my time there, even if it was short lived

I began as a crew member back in 2017 as my first part time job. I really enjoyed it there and made good friendships which meant a lot to me and I continued at this job for just over 4 years. Within 2 years I was promoted to being a floor manager/crew trainer. To do this I had to undertake extra learning and training to learn how to effectively train new crew members and fill in important documents for the shift managers to show that the crew had learned everything properly. This position also meant that I had was trusted more by the shift managers to help run the store alongside them, delegate tasks to crew members, ensure that all cleaning tasks were done, and to ensure that proper health and safety standards were complied with by everybody. Unfortunately I had to leave this job due to my parents moving, but my time there really meant a lot to me.

I was a promoter for On-Campus Promotions whilst at university as a part time job whilst at university. This role involved, using social media, emailing and verbal communication to promote events that were taking place at my university and others around the country. I promoted a varied number of events, this task involved generating meaningful, eye-catching and informational posts to draw peoples attention in and get more people to attend their events.
