I have 20+ years experience in delivering applied science/engineering projects and prefer to work in active work environments where new and challenging problems are solved.I easily move between scientific research and the development of science and engineering applications.I have both lead and participated in science and engineering oriented teams, as well as mixed teams where problem-solving, liaising and communication were essential to cope with the rapid development needs of the project.My passion is to see science in action through algorithm development, and my discipline is to deliver operational level software implementations derived from the research.Consequently, I prefer the R&D work environment where theoretical research must be translated and applied to real world problems. I am a goal oriented person and my drive is toward challenging projects in which my skills and abilities are fully utilised and expanded.
