MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES1. Designing of strategies on different business scenarios to reach the main objectives assigned to the Governmental Affairs Direction.2. Develop of relationships and Corporate image before the official authorities responsible for industrial promotion, international trade negotiations, international agreements operations; tax and customs authorities; environmental offices, etc.3. Negotiation of official incentives for new investment projects before the Federal and Local Government Offices.4. Representation before industrial organizations and associations such as AMIA, as Chrysler’s Director Council, American Chamber, COMCE, etc., developing industrial strategies and positions to promote the official projects and programs to improve the business environment.5. Negotiation with the authority procedures and rulings that will allow to the company the optimization of the operations in the country. 6. Developing, jointly with other areas of the company, new customs rules and procedures that include the updated technology applications in information systems and communications.7. Addressing of direct support and advice to the internal areas and business units concerning the improvement of their relationships and negotiation positions with different Government Offices.8. Develop new schemes to allow the company strong and flexible procedures concerning official authorizations, procurement and information exchanging with the Government Offices.9. Procurement of official registrations, permits and all the authorizations required by the company from the Mexican Government.10. Coordination of the supply of information required by the Government Offices and other organizations.11. Initiatives and analysis on some foundations to support social programs.12. Organization of all events with Mr. President and governors at Chrysler facilities, related with the new investment programs launching, meeting with them and the FCA global CEO.
