Ruchika Singh has over two decades of experience working on environmental and developmental issues, providing leadership, and developing programs. She has a Ph.D. in development studies (with a focus on water governance). She has experience working in diverse environments – policy research, academic research and teaching, and grassroots field implementation. Over her professional career, her focus has been on: conducting evidence-based research, program development and management, building strategic partnerships, fundraising, donor engagement, leading country programs and teams, strategy development, and providing thought leadership. Ruchika's current research focuses on complex systemic issues related to food systems, land use, landscape restoration, food loss and waste, and sustainable and regenerative agriculture with a crossing-cutting lens of people, nature, and climate with intersectionality and a focus on reducing poverty and enhancing livelihoods built-in.
