I have ~20 years’ experience in the PERE industry in APeJ (India, HK, SEA and Australia). I have worked across the entire life cycle of Fund Management. My areas of strength include Deal Sourcing, Portfolio Construction and Risk/Asset Management.I have played an instrumental role in raising funds, driven investments of US$ 200mn in Private Credit, US$ 75mn in the Core and Core Plus Real Estate strategies and US$ 132mn in Opportunistic Equity strategies. My learning over the years has been that governance, sponsors and business earnings are more important than assets as RE is a very cyclical asset class. As a result, my focus on operating plans and decisive interventions have added immense value to the Portfolio companies and improved the investment outcomes. Due to my strong focus on these aspects, I have achieved exits in excess of US$ 600mn till date. Armed with these perspectives, I am confident of building a Robust Portfolio which will have the ability to compound in the long term by avoiding any un-systemic risks and focusing on Asset Management.
