CurrentLea Ann is a skilled professional at SCPDC, where she administers Community Development Block Grants (CDBG). She has a proven track record in developing and preparing comprehensive Environmental Review Records within the planning district. Lea An managed multiple types of CDBG funding, adeptly clearing contract conditions, procuring professional services, completing acquisitions, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Her leadership extends to training and assisting junior partners, ensuring the continuous development of her team.In her role as the leader of Broadband outreach at SCPDC, Lea Ann has contributed to statewide broadband initiatives in collaboration with the Louisiana Association of Planning and Development Districts (LAPDD) and the Office of Broadband and Connectivity. She has demonstrated organizational skills by ensuring all contract conditions were met, collecting invoices and deliverables from all eight planning districts, and representing LAPDD at conferences and award ceremonies. Her dedication saw the broadband initiative through to its successful closeout.Lea Ann's expertise is further highlighted by her certification in Quality Project and Program Management and her role as a Quality Assurance Manager for the EPA Brownfields Program. She has reviewed and provided guidance on numerous Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs) for brownfield projects across the southern region of the state.Additionally, her involvement with the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) has grown, particularly in overseeing the Travel Demand Management program. Lea Ann has taken on increased responsibilities, including writing requests for qualifications and managing the procurement of firms for various transportation and safety projects within the MPO. Her commitment to professional development is evident in her efforts to both learn and impart new skills to her colleagues.
