Reports regarding the training period and what happened during it in detail. I trained in the operations department at Mina Al Fahal Refinery. It was one of the most enjoyable periods I spent. It was a journey full of knowledge that developed my knowledge & my background information , I gained exciting information that helped me enrich my background information about the specialty in which I study. I branched out into many branches that helped me understand the meaning of operations in a basic and deep way. I delved deeper into understanding units and machines and the way some large devices work as well. I touched on understanding how to remotely control temperature, pressure, and the amount of flow required using simulators , I was trained in a naphtha hydrotreating unit, The purpose of NHT unit is to produce refined and clean feed for the supply of reformer unit and isomerization unit. To maintain the efficiency of these units and catalysts, the feed of these units must be free from sulfur, water, nitrogen, halogens, olefines, mercury, arsenics, and other metals. the naphtha hydrotreating unit is an essential part of petroleum refining that guarantees the creation of higher-quality, cleaner products made from naphtha. This procedure assists in meeting regulatory requirements, reducing environmental effects, and safeguarding catalysts and downstream refining operations by eliminating Sulphur and nitrogen molecules. For the unit to operate effectively and safely, proper maintenance, catalyst management, and attention to safety regulations are necessary.
