Rudi Bergner, 30 years old. Born and raised in Lisbon.Got my degree in Design from IADE - Creative University in 2013.- - -Besides my general interest in Arts, i have a special interest in experimentation, i value the process and the concept very much. I identify my work with conceptual art, contemporary art, comics, videoarte, and illustration the most because of the experimental and expressive side i see in all.Through my life i started to make observation drawings, such as landscapes, spaces and people. Today i spend more time sketching ideas without a clear objective.I begin to look at my work as something more illustrativewhen my head decides to interfere in the sense/feeling and the processof thinking my creation, and from there i start to draw more conceptually,expressing ideas, theories, thoughts, chronics, concepts, emotions and moods.A little bit like a "illiterate literary" i seek a conceptual work, in some way figurative and iconographic, but expressive, exploring deep emotions aswell.Deep down, what i´m doing in my work is to illustratewhat I observe, not just what i see but what´s inside us, all that only i can see blinded, almost as if I were present even if the possible purpose of the work has nothing to do with me.I cannot stop trying to have a universal language, but i keep a very personal expression.
