Los Angeles Community College District: Project Match 2017Graduated from the prestigious and award-winning Summer Institute Internship Program. This intensive 6-month program covered a broad spectrum of information including online instruction certification in CANVAS, program review, student learning outcomes, instructional strategies, cultural competencies for community college populations, and district board rules and policies. As an intern I was mentored for the fall 2017 semester and had practical hands-on training in classroom management, instruction, and class preparation. At the age of 21 I was sentenced to prison for manslaughter while driving under the influence of alcohol. During my time in prison I made the decision that I would not be defined by my tragedy. I set in my mind to turn my life around and overcome my adversity, and pursue a different path that would start with obtaining my bachelor's degree. While on my transformational journey, I failed many times, lost relationships and made many mistakes, while still believing and desiring to achieve my goals. During the process I discovered I was resilient, tenacious, gritty, developed mental strength, driven and willed myself to achieve my goal of my bachelor's degree, my master's degree, and started my first business Be Non Human Apparel. After launching my first business, I launched Rudi Lopez Enterprises and many companies under the holding company including BENH Media and BENH.TV, other exciting businesses through partnerships and relationships I developed. In 2017 I wrote my first book "Self Mastery of Mind - Body - Soul", achieved my goal of becoming a Community College Professor of Communications with the Los Angeles Trade Technical College and I'm currently developing my own e-learning platform BENH University. My vast experience shaped by my journey of hitting rock bottom, soaring to great heights and hitting rock bottom again, only to transform my life again, has allowed me to gain a wealth of wisdom, insights, understanding of human potential, including the keys to success and living an extraordinary life.
