Porter is a fully-managed PaaS that lets teams automate DevOps, allowing teams to adopt a push-deploy approach towards running their workloads on AWS, GCP and more. My role is a mix of site reliability engineering for our customers who run Kubernetes clusters at scale across AWS, GCP and on-prem, as well as customer success. I'm also responsible for our internal and production infrastructure, when it comes to reliability, scalability as well as security and compliance engineering.

My work stretches from engineering to design and product management, to growth hacking for communities as well as curating and creating original content around the Indian product ecosystem.

HasGeek curates exceptional technology conferences every year, in Bangalore, as well as creating discussion spaces for geeks. My role here revolved around writing a bit of code here and there behind HasJob, as well as maintaining different event websites. I also curated content for Meta Refresh 2015, a conference behind frontend engineering, as well as worked on event logistics and outreach.

MathHarbor essentially aims to build an ecosystem for open-source scientific computing, through building better cloud platforms for mathematical and scientific coding, building open video courseware on using open source tools for solving problems across multiple scientific disciplines, as well as creating bootcamps and workshops around the same theme. We also work with the military on building more powerful wargaming engines for modelling discrete combat scenarios in a more realistic manner.

My role entailed writing apps for Facebook, as well as maintaining social plugin integrations for all of HT's Internet properties, such as Desimartini.com, Shine.com, HTCampus.com and so on. I also worked closely with other divisions, in order to define and execute a successful social media strategy for these websites.

I served as a point of contact for new clients, who were transitioning to Cvent's event management software platform, and helped new and existing clients build better events.

Here, my work involved handling technical support for Amazon.com and later, Amazon.eu, one of Earth*s biggest online retailers as well as one of IBM GPS*s biggest clients.
