 Analysis/Research over a BPM engine to be used for Roxana’s Service ManagementDesigner. It covered the BPM field in all its aspects including engines, languages, taskservices, persistence layer, etc… Developed a Proof of Concept over jBPM 3.4 and Drools in order to run workflowscreated using SMD. Drools+jBPM readings and code SVN checkout. Drools discussion over the irc channelwith the Project lead and the contributors. Contributed in the SMD System Architecture by setting up the SMD Layers, writing thedocs and sketching the diagrams. In charge of the UI implementation for the SMD, it was implemented using GWT+SmartGWT. The Client interface was connected to an RPC service that maps every request to its corresponding Spring Service. Implemented some Hibernate DAOs for the SMD persistence layer. Implemented some Spring Services for the SMD Spring layer. Implemented a Drawing tool using GWT in order to be used as a Workflow Editor for theSMD. http://oodukes.appspot.com/Drools.html

Analysis/Research over an AJAX toolkit to be used for Koein Software Department in order to build web based 2.0 applications.Implemented a web portal for MTV Lebanon, http://mtv.com.lb/today.html the portal front end is implemented using GWT and it is connected to a .NET backend via HTTP requests. The portal has a polling technique in order to have a live comments service while streaming live content from the server.Facebook connect is also integrated into the MTV web portal using GWT in order for the users to share and like the programs of MTV. The CMS is also implemented using GWT, we have developed some special UI components like multiple file upload, drop down selections with the ability to directly add a new item to it, a program calendar in order to set the programs air times and many other cool stuff.

Implemented an update release for the Offer Manager Project. This is a J2EE container currently used by Orange Telecom in Switzerland. It consists of a complex architecture built up on the J2EE technology with the integration of Castor and IBatis and many others third party java libraries. The Offer Manager is deployed over Bea weblogic application server 8.1 and it uses ORACLE 10i as the DB engine.

*In charge of the Index Multimedia platform. It’s a very powerful platform which has been bought by Lingo in order to run on it any kind of SMS/MMS applications. The platform includes several servers where every server consists of a Module by itself.* Implemented an SMPP sender/receiver for Lingo. It’s an API which Lingo is using right now over Vodafone Egypt SMSC and Al Jawal KSA SMSC. The API has the ability to send/receive 10,000 SMS per hour.* Implemented several SMS/MMS applications for SMS2TV projects for ART Sports, ART Ein and Iqra TV stations.* Attended a Training session which was held at Toulouse, France at Index Multimedia sites in order to be able to configure, run and manage the Index Multimedia Platform.

* In charge of the whole java platform consisting of a Tomcat server which is used to run the polaris website using mysql as the DataBase Engine.* Implemented an automated currency converter engine for our customers using java Threads.* Implemented a web enabled application under java (JSP and Java Beans) for exporting data to any kind of report formats such as (pdf, xls, html, csv).* Developed a java engine to automate the process of uploading invoices into the PIMS back office tool.
