Brocade is a global leader in technology innovation specializing in data storage and Ethernet networking hardware. Offerings include Ethernet Routers and Switches, Fibre Channel Fabrics, Network Function Virtulization, and Software Defined Networking.Most recently, I led pre-sales and post-sales engineering efforts supporting Brocade Data Center Ethernet Fabrics, SDN, and Campus Ethernet porfolios in Cloud Service Provider and fortune 100 accounts. I came to Brocade through their aquisition of Foundry Networks where I was a Subject Matter Expert in Application Delivery Control, (Load Balancing), WiFi Networking, and LAN/WAN architectures.My role in the local account team was instrumental in landing several of Brocade's top revenue producing accounts. Through my customer interactions with operational technical leads, architects, and executive management, I have always become a respected technical adviser creating mutually beneficial solutions that greatly satisfy customer needs while producing tangible bottom line results for Brocade by promoting the corporate brand in an open and trustful relationship.

Foundry Networks was the innovation and performance leader in Network routing and switching. Foundry was first to market Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, Layer 3 switching, and invented the hardware load balancer, (Application Delivery Controller). The company was aquired by Brocade in December of 2008 with Brocade continuing on leading the market in Ethernet innovation.At Foundry, I was a Sales/Systems Engineer supporting switching, routing, Wireless LAN, and load balancing platforms. My duties included pre-sales actvities to help customers achieve their network goals with heavy imphasis on the corporate directive of maintaining integrity throughout the sales cycle. At Foundry, I was also heavily focused on sustaining customer relationships through hands on post-sales support activities including assistance with installs, troubleshooting technical issues, and Proof of Concept lab excercises.In my year at Foundry, prior to acquisition I secured business with several SLED accounts, a significant Cloud Service Provider, and nurtured relationships with a fortune 50 company. Upon bringing this revenue pipeline to Brocade, these accounts contributed to 30% of achieved regional quota.

Nearly every product launched by Webroot has garnered best in class reviews by industry publications.As Lead Network Architect I was responsible for the design and implementation of Webroot's global Data Center footprint, operational security for Data Center and Threat Research networks, and compliance security for all of Webroot's business units. My duties in compliance security included Payment Card Industry Penetration Scanning, and creating policies for multiple security domains within the organization.During my time at Webroot I was able to accomplish the renovation and addition of four globally dispersed Data Centers, create definitive lines of security between Threat Research and Production networks, and establish network and security compliance under PCI DSS standards. These accomplishments enabled Webroot to regain a competitive edge in having a robust, secure, and reliable infrastructure to deliver their software offerings.

Offerings include Web Conferencing and Collaboration, Outsourced Call Centers, and E-911 voice and data services.At West Corp I was tasked with troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues within a large multi-vendor global infrastructure, perform remote maintenance and service enhancements, and network integration of acquired businesses.While at West, I lead efforts to merge the Data Center and corporate network assets from the acquisition of Raindance Communications into the West Corp global infrastructure. Through these efforts I enabled a seamless transition allowing West to rapidly deploy the Raindance conferencing and collaboration offerings with West Corp realizing associated revenue well in advance of expected deadlines.

Raindance Communications was a pioneer in Web Collaboration and Video Conferencing. Their ground breaking products lead to today’s normality of hosting globally dispersed audio and visual meetings in real time without the need and expense of travel for in person gatherings. Raindance was acquired by West Corp under their Intercall business unit in 2006.Working my way to Senior Network Engineer, I was a part of a family of extremely talented Engineers that covered all facets of technology. Raindance was a melting pot of technological knowledge that cultivated an environment of cross training and shared expertise between silos of every IT focus.This position supplied me with a breadth of Network opportunities including design, troubleshooting, operational and compliance security, and maintaining revenue producing customer relationships. Raindance provided a paramount background to the base of my career. I was instrumental in protocol diagnostics of Raindance Web based software through their interaction with network peripheral devices, creating robust load balanced Data Centers producing 5-9s of up-time, and establishing and maintaining a WAN network comprised of multiple BGP peers for delivery of the Raindance Software as a Service platform.
