CoFounded Well Data Labs, a distributed software platform that solves the nastiest data problem in the oil & gas industry, per-sec frac data. I designed the platform, built the first version, presided over the inevitable refactors, and most important, built a team of engineers who continue to grow the platform today.

Worked as an independent consultant for multiple clients including IBM, Samsonite, Department of Interior, Department of Energy, USWest, and MediaOne Group, co-founded a startup for 8 years, then did more consulting work, mostly for companies that were having trouble with large distributed systems. Functioned as a software fixer for systems ranging from high volume pay-per-click advertising, to real-time offender monitoring.
