Responsible for Go-to-Market, Operations, Finance, IT, and HR.

• Responsible for Product Development, IT, Security, and Operations for Docebo, a leader in the Learning Platform SaaS market segment ($100M+ ARR, 1000+ employees, 60% growth rate).• Unified the Product Development team, merging the R&D and core engineering efforts, and drove efforts to improve product quality and catch more defects prior to release. Built a global 24x7 cloud operations and product support team, and developed a paid enterprise-grade Support offering.• Rebuilt the IT team hiring senior industry leaders. Oversaw a complex Billing migration project, moving from a home-grown system to commercial SaaS offerings. Launched a new Business Intelligence capability, enabling the organization to self-serve reporting needs.• Spearheaded the Security efforts, including hiring a CISO, and built out a comprehensive information security plan centered on Application Security; Security Operations; and Governance, Risk, and Compliance.

• Led the Solutions Architecture (SA) and Training & Certification (T&C) functions at AWS, working with AWS customers and partners to better understand and leverage the AWS cloud computing platform to transform their businesses ($60B+ business, 2,000+ employees direct, 10,000+ employees indirect).• Led the global Solutions Architecture function, with over 10,000 Solution Architects in the field. Developed initiatives that drove scale and impact, such as the Well-Architected Initiative which provided a framework and tooling for implementing cloud architecture best practices, and the AWS Solutions portfolio which provided pre-built technical solutions to common business problems.• Built and scaled the AWS Training and Certification business, starting from nothing and growing it into a multi-modal $100M's business, delivering training to 5M+ learners annually. Built an industry-leading certification program, ultimately certifying 100K’s of practitioners annually and serving as an additional revenue stream for the business.

• Played a key role in helping define and build out the AWS Field organization during the early formative years. Started and built several field teams, including: Solutions Architecture, Training and Certification, Business Development, Startup, Professional Services, and Specialized Sales. Championed the early industry verticalization efforts within AWS, hiring both the sales and technical teams, and developing the go-to-market strategy.

• Started the AWS Field organization, being the first member. Drove all of the first sales calls personally, well before “cloud computing” existed as an industry, and during a time that Amazon was largely viewed as “just a bookseller”. Built relationships with and brought in all of AWS’s initial customers, including NY Times, Adobe, Netflix, Smugmug, NASDAQ, etc. Was key in helping AWS determine how to position our product offering, who to sell to, how to sell it, how to improve the platform, etc.

• Managed the technical relationship between Microsoft and Rational Software with respect to integrating the Rational tools into the Visual Studio software development environment.• IBM acquired Rational in March 2003, and post acquisition, built out the ISV partner ecosystem around the Eclipse-based Rational toolset. This involved identifying and recruiting partners that would compliment the capabilities of the Rational tooling platform, and managing the development of the integrations.

• As part of the Xerox Research organization, investigated and evaluated emerging technologies to be applied towards managing Xerox products within enterprise environments. Conceived of and built “PrinterMap”, a software product used to discover and manage multi-vendor printing hardware environments.• Managed the technical relationship between Xerox Corporation and Microsoft Corporation. This involved ensuring seamless integrations between Xerox printer and multifunctional device drivers, and the Windows operating systems.

• Led the software development team responsible for building the software used to build command sequences to control spacecraft for various deep space missions including Galileo, Mars Observer, etc.• Conceived of and built APGEN, a mission planning software system used by mission designers to build plans for deep space missions.
