Remained in my leadership role to facilitate the integration of Lingualcare into 3M as a full-time employee for one year and then as a consultant for one more year. In addition to integration activities, provided leadership for 3M's digital dentisty development projects and internal initiatives and played a key role on the acquisition team for 3M's purchase of T.O.P. Service based in Bad Essen Germany. Spoke frequently at Company gatherings and professional conferences as a digital dentistry expert and champion.

As the President and co-founder of Lingualcare, raised venture capital to finance the company, built the patent portfolio and key technology platforms, established a maquilladora manufacturing facility in Mexicali, Mexico to produce product, drove innovation and key strategic partnerships within the company. In 2007 Lingualcare received the prestigious "Dallas 100" Award for being one of the fastest growing, most innovative companies in the Dallas Metorplex. Sold company to 3M Company in November, 2007.Lingualcare is a dental technology and services company with a new approach to orthodontics (straightening teeth) that leverages proprietary laboratory procedures and patented technology. The Company developed, iBraces™, 100% customized “invisible” braces that are placed on the tongue side of the teeth.

Founder and original CEO of OraMetrix, Inc., an orthodontic technology company headquartered in Dallas, Texas, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and General Manager until August 2002. He was the primary inventor of many of OraMetrix’ key technologies and served as principal leader of the company’s research and development efforts. The genesis of OraMetrix was a spun-off technology originally developed at Geyer Medizin- und Fertigungstechnik GmbH in 1996. As the leader of the new entity he built the German technology organization, raised seed funding with German and U.S. investors then spearheaded a reverse acquisition to make the German entity a wholly owned subsidiary of a newly formed U.S. company. Founding member of a tool engineering and robotics company, Krueger and Rubbert GbR. Geyer Umformtechnik KG purchased a spin-off of this company in 1989; and Ruedger Rubbert served as General Manager of the subsidiary Geyer Medizin- und Fertigungstechnik GmbH for five years.
