The strategic development of a company using its own resources, as well as through M&A, are among my core competencies. A solid foundational education in natural sciences (PhD in Chemistry) and business administration (MBA), along with two decades of experience in product management at headquarters and marketing leadership in a sales organization, have led to a deep understanding of the necessary processes for manufacturing as well as the effective sale of new products.A complex portfolio of various technologies requires a broad understanding of the laboratory market, from research to production, in segments such as pharmaceuticals & chemistry, food & feed, and environmental analytics. As a manufacturer for a premium brand, a compelling differentiation strategy that adds value for the user in their overall process and environment including its IT infrastructure, is essential. The necessary skills in consultative selling only come into play with an effective go-to-market strategy, efficient processes, and convincing tools. On the other side of the spectrum, an attractive mid-tier portfolio is needed to secure positions at the top or to expand the business in mid-tier. However, the corresponding sales strategies differ significantly from consultative selling as different channels, messages and tools (e-commerce, inside selling) are required. This breadth of technologies, positioning, and market segments necessitates extensive expertise in business development, sales, marketing, and product development. Through numerous launches, the introduction of revolutionary concepts for interdisciplinary teams in sales, marketing, and product management, as well as new tools (CRM, PIM, ERP, Sales App) and processes for market and product development, I have gained the skills to know nearly all aspects of an international company in the capital goods sector in depth. The ability to connect the different aspects and requirements allows me to create new solutions and continuously develop an organization according to a long-term, clearly articulated strategy.
