Mr. Serna has more than 30 years of extensive, broad and sound professional experience in detailed engineering design and construction of buildings and infrastructure projects. A civil engineer by profession, he has been designated as Design team leader, Civil Designer, Construction Supervisor, Quantity Surveyor, Resident Engineer and Claims & Documents Specialist. As a Construction Supervision Specialist, he has handled project management tasks from inception to completion stage, and has built client-focused goals during his project involvements.Among his engagements, his notable involvement is with various multi-million projects in the Philippines and Qatar, involving construction of tunnel, underpass, roads, bridges and utilities, a University campus development project in Northern Philippines. As part of his tasks as Project Manager and as Dean for the College of Engineering for the Pan Pacific University North Philippines, he took charge in project planning and design, contract documents preparation, and construction control and supervision. The project involved construction of various research and technology buildings, multi-purpose complex, foot bridges interconnecting buildings, roads and drainage, utilities, and in-house apartments.
