After previous experiences in FEM, CFD and CAE in general I created a new italian company which takes care of this type of design techniques. Everything, obviously, using cloud computing and opensource technologies.

In the role of Project Manager, I coordinate a number of IT projects within the company. The main tasks range from defining the specifications of IT projects, to checking the progress of work and implementations, up to the search for external suppliers to achieve the set objectives.

Founder and creator of the company, I committed myself into building a new CFD on the CLOUD software, given the experiences I had. I created the group and in autumn 2015 we were already delivering our v1.0.0.Meanwhile I took part into creating our first customer portfolio and I managed to interact with some of the biggest company in the area between Milan and Venice.I increased my experience in business opportunities, engineering network and interactions and, at the same time, I also cooperate into new products design according to ErP european rules.

My experience in Maico was relatively short but intense. I got involved in two project mainly. The first one was the creation of a product database - PDM - to provide information both to the internal marketing area and to customers. The second project was in CFD analysis of car parks, in order to evaluate CO extraction, as a support to the commercial sector. The biggest issue I had to deal with during my PhD time was the creation of a new sythetic turbulence to make embedded LES more interesting from an industrial point of view. The starting point was the Synthetic Eddy Method (SEM) which I developped into a divergence free form (DF-SEM). The new method showed increased performance compared to classical synthetic turbulence and, furthemore, a new algorithm to couple synthetic turbulence with hybrid methods such as DDES was proposed as well. Two years contract in a small CFD company which aims to spread CFD to a higher number of users by using "immersed boundary" and simplifying as much as possible the simulation parameters. During the contract period the code substained massive changes (moving from a structure code to a non structured one), influencing both the internal immersion algorithm and the linear sistem solver.
