Hey, I'm Ruhan!Since second grade in elementary school, I've had this unusual dream to become a computer scientist in the future. I've always been so fascinated by the power of tech and its ability to aid people in everyday life, from entertainment to education and beyond.To feed this desire to learn more, I would bury myself in Khan Academy and learn new programming languages. By fourth grade, I picked up some basic HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and Python.I've come a long way since then. In 2023, I created Algo, a training platform for competitive programming enthusiasts and high school students to help them prepare for the United States of America Computing Olympiad. It caught fire within its first month of launch, amassing almost 500 daily users.I’m a co-founder and leader of Wave Tutor, an organization that helps students from across the United States learn Math and English. Using my leadership skills, I’ve created a closely-knit team for seamless and reliable operation of Wave Tutor.I have also freelanced for clients around the world, building websites and scripts and fixing bugs for others. I've enjoyed every part of these experiences because they've taught me about what kind of person I want to be.To me, these projects serve as a method of self-exploration. They are a way for me to explore my interests and passions and keep learning with the same hunger my 7-year-old self had when he was flying through JavaScript tutorials, begging for just five more minutes on his dad's old Mac desktop.Want to get in touch?
