It has only been a decade and a half since I've embarked on this journey of embracing the madness and magic of the M.A.D world I call home today. And it has yet to disappoint, in fact with the industry now driven by AI and ML there's only more wonders to unfold in the future than ever before.Β I got introduced to this industry with an entry-level position for client services at a global agency. It immediately felt different. The diversity within this one role has kept me hooked on ever since. Client servicing really requires you to wear a lot of hats at one time, simply put, you are expected to be a jack of all trades and nothing less does it. From taking a brand ambassador role π acting as a bridge between client and agency, to becoming a researcher π§ gaining market intelligence to stay abreast of trends, media practices and competition, to a business manager who understands challenges of the bottom line on both sides of the table, a charmer when meeting the deadline is crucial, a solid creative for when the going gets tough, a sales guru for not sounding too obvious while milking the cow π and definitely a storyteller who believes in sharing life experiences as part of a journey rather than milestones.This never-ending excitement along with creative challenges the industry brings forth everyday, is the driving force I wake up to. Our day to day might not seem all "glitz and glamour" (coz it ain't) but we definitely bring a lot of fun to the process just so that we can minimize the risk of failures while keeping our creative juices flowing. It's all about perspectives, but failures are mankind's best friend. If analyzed positively and countered, they can in turn act as red carpets to the most celebrated success stories of our lives.Over the years, developing each skill set, I have evolved into a Business Head and a Marketing Consultant who has led corporate communications, marketing and advertising campaigns for global brands such as Always, Tide, Sensodyne, Nippon Paints, Damac, Pampers, Gillette, Panadol, PediaSure, Mospel, IKEA, McDonald's, Cool & Cool, Coca Cola, etc. spanning across a variety of industries.
