Honda is the second largest Japanese automobile manufacturer, producing not only motor vehicles, but also motorcycles and power products (gardening tools and outboard engines).As part of one of the biggest companies in the automotive area, established worldwide my main responsibilities are:- Make expert advice available related to interpretations of legislation (EU, ECE, WVTA, CU-TR).- Coordinate certification testing activities with test labs and type approval authorities.- Obtain EC/ECE certificates and coordinate all certification deadlines for motor vehicles and power products in a wide global area (Europe, Japan, South-Africa, Australia, Malaysia, Russia, among other countries).- Discuss and negotiate non-conformities with type approval authorities.- Enable sales and registration activities at distributors side, by giving technical support on customer requests.- Support business divisions (factory, product planning, Honda accessories) for all certification related matters.
