Prognostic and Health Management (PHM) provides a set of capabilities that enable diagnostic, prognostic and health management to achieve condition-based maintenance (CBM) for effective and efficient maintenance and operation. To engineering a PHM system, our research goals are:· Establish a systematic design methodology for engineering a PHM system.· Perform functional and physical development and analysis.· Establish a framework to select the appropriate prognostics approaches based on requirements and performance evaluations.· Data-driven prognostic algorithms implementation based on machine learning, big-data analysis, and statistical mathematics.
