Excels at creative work, multitasking and getting results.Like many kids born in the 80’s, my childhood hero was MacGyver. Consequence or not, I grew being a curious person, always trying to learn how the world worked and and a lot of times being a total headache for my parents.I taught myself the wonders of developing software at an early age - and no Bill! 640k was not enough. This led me to pursue a career in Engineering and later a Master degree in Electronics and Computers.I worked in the family business while studying. It was during this time that I earned from my Dad the values that would follow me forever: Honesty and hard work. “Your word is your bond” he always said. (he’s Portuguese so I’m translating but you get the point).Regarding my professional career, I’ve always shone my excellence in multitasking, quick learning and problem solving. I’ve learned the true value of having a team that you trust, and how soft-skills can change the delivery of any project. Furthermore, I am a goal oriented person focused on getting results.I had the luck to work with fantastic professionals, as well the opportunity to lead small and big teams, travel to distant places and develop amazing products.This career path made me realize I could start something from zero – and at this point of the story comes Darwin Gaming. Darwin was a challenge that allowed me to focus on something that I’m really passionate about - design games and new concepts.Additionally, I have a lot of hobbies, which matches my wonderful inquisitive personality. I like playing the guitar, reading a good audiobook, learning new skills and spending time with family and friends. I’m really into fighting and “souls” games genre. By this point you already notice that I love a good challenge.From all my achievements and everything I’ve done in my life, my 2 daughters are the thing I’m most proud of, all pales in comparison. Oh, and I hate social networks, I understand the appeal and think the mechanics they use darkly fascinating, but it takes too much time for everything else.
