Subjective and objective evaluations have shown superior visual quality.- Developed an object detection algorithm for X-ray image analysis (in MATLAB). This is one of the first work on post-primary tuberculosis detection from chest radiographs. Developed an algorithm for face recognition from videos.- Developed a stereo matching algorithm and a multi-camera calibration and synchronization algorithm.- Developed a rendering algorithm and MedVis, a cross-platform system (in C++ and Cg), for GPU accelerated 3D medical data visualization; developed a skeleton hierarchy generation algorithm, and analyzed mesh simplification algorithms.
