Starting as an Application Engineer, I was promoted to Application Team Lead in Apr.2007. During this time, I was serving in Zoran Approach Mobile Multimedia SoC product line, an ARM-core multimedia co-processor that powered video and audio processing in several very good LG cellphones - 5MP camera phones before iPhone, and features like Moments on iPhone which we use today, back when processing power was a fraction of what is available today!Leading the team for extended periods of co-located firmware development in Israel, we successfully completed tough customer support missions in Korea with LG and TW ODMs, often at critical times of program or organizational crisis. The experiences gave me opportunities not only to learn from the best developers, but more importantly developed lifetime friendships with colleagues I would forever appreciate and cherish.

Starting with an internship, I was fortunate enough to witness the era of China transitioning from manufacturing to firmware and software development. I learned real-world product-level software development on feature phone products, working directly with customers, and why your success is always measured in customers' success.
