Move to Platform-centric product and software-only stack (embedded software, cloud, data, UI) by shipping production-ready Veniam SDK for automotive and IoT customers. Led engineering, product, partnerships, and design teams. Scaling the engineering team and product engineering processes through agile-A-Spice methods. Support the team through covid-19 pandemic while setting up processes for full-remote setup. Ownership over product quality and innovation, enterprise and product security. Led the company to publish over 110 patents, key automotive and telecom partnerships, and executive management from series B through acquisition.

As Managing Director, I set up the NYC office of Veniam, its center of operations for North America. During my role of Managing Director, I led the development of the North American market as well as of key product partnerships, with special focus in the area of automotive and connected autonomous vehicles.

As Director of Product, I worked together with the leadership and product team to develop, promote, and scale market-ready products leveraging Veniam unique platform for the connected vehicles and the Internet of Moving Things.

Develop the first versions of Veniam cloud infrastructure and management dashboards, that include interfaces for data collection, software updates over-the-air, configuration management, and differenciator business logic.

IEEE Academic is a student-driven, multilingual and locally developed online educational resource, created together with college professors to aid students in their academic learning and to help them achieve academic success. During the coordination phase of the project, we went from 0 to 94,000+ individual learners, 1M educational video views, and contents available in over 8 languages (Portuguese, Greek, Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, Kurdish, Polish, and Catalan). We also built a process to manage global teams and an online backoffice that facilitates the interaction between worldwide distributed teams of volunteers and contributors.The project is now being expanded to new geographies, adding new libraries, and exploring new educational methodologies to address the local challenges of education, globally.
