Following 3M's globalization strategy, I was integrated into what was initially called the Industrial and Safety Market Center, with the responsibility of developing 3M's distribution channel for the main Industry divisions of 3M. This encompassed a comprehensive role aimed at business development and facilitating interdependencies between various channel teams and 3M specification teams with end customers in each business area. The experience gained previously led to accelerated facilitation and development in the Portuguese territory across all Industrial business areas, achieving a significant share of approximately 20% of Iberia's weight in execution.Currently integrated into the Global Industrial Center with the objective of focusing on business development across various reference areas, we have achieved a benchmark level of execution considering the size of our country, with a trend of sustainable growth to date in departments such as Personal Protection, Abrasives, and Tapes & Adhesives.

Adicionalmente à posição de especialista para os mercados de alta visibilidade, acumulei funções no desenvolvimento de negócio da Divisão de Proteção Pessoal para desenvolver o canal de distribuição deste importante departamento da 3M. Desenvolvi e implementei as estratégias de crescimento da divisão efetuando a conexão entre as equipas de cliente final 3M e o canal e formei e especializei este canal levando a uma expansão importante neste negócio, em 2017 ganhei o prémio top performer que selecionava os melhores key accounts a nivel EMEA das várias áreas no que foi o melhor ano de sempre em termos de resultados da divisão de proteção pessoal.In addition to the role of specialist for high visibility markets, I also took on responsibilities in business development for the Personal Safety Division to expand the distribution channel of this important department at 3M. I developed and implemented growth strategies for the division, bridging the gap between 3M's end customer teams and the distribution channel. I trained and specialized this channel, leading to significant expansion in this business. In 2017, I was awarded the Top Performer prize, recognizing the best key accounts at the EMEA level across various areas, in what was the division's best year ever in terms of results in Personal Protection.

This includes specification, training, and consulting services for both industry players and public entities regarding technical garment specifications.Success stories could include the specification of retroreflective materials for Portugal's National Republican Guard (GNR) agents, BT vehicles, and national Fire Brigades, particularly during the regulatory changes of 2018. Additionally, managing and developing projects with converters and technical garment manufacturers is a crucial aspect of this business development.

Desenvolvimento de projectos decorativos e de eficiência energética em edificios e viaturas com a utilização das soluções Window Films da 3M. Nesta posição desenvolvi e certifiquei aplicadores especialistas nesta área tanto para aplicação de películas de controle solar em edificios como em viaturas. Vários projectosde especificação em entidades bancárias, Jerónimo martins e outras especificações, inclusivamente em embaixadas como a dos Estados Unidos em Lisboa, foram executadas com o suporte dos aplicadores certificados 3O, VPeliculas, e Impersol os quais certifiquei e formei como aplicadores oficiais 3M.The development of decorative and energy efficiency projects in buildings and vehicles using 3M's Window Films solutions involves creating and implementing initiatives aimed at improving indoor environments, aesthetics, and energy efficiency. In this role, I developed and certified specialized applicators in this area, both for applying solar control films in buildings and vehicles.Several specification projects in banking institutions, Jerónimo Martins, and other specifications, including embassies such as the United States Embassy in Lisbon, were carried out with the support of certified applicators from 3M, VPeliculas, and Impersol, whom I certified and trained as official 3M applicators.

Comecei as minhas funções na 3M como especialista para o mercado da construção, onde desenvolvi a criação de centros de colagem especializados para fachadas e paineis, a função incluia a formação e desenvolvimento em conjunto com as equipas de Engenharia de projectos de fachada e de paineis com colagem estrutural sujeitos a cargas, estes projetos tinham a especificidade de obedecer a uma ETA (European Technical Assessment ETA-09/0024), liderei os maiores projetos em Portugal e alguns para o exterior em conjunto com as maiores empresas do sector colaborando não somente nos manuais técnicos nos projectos de Engenharia, desenvolvendo em conjunto com as empresas as especificações técnicas executando os cálculos de carga e fazendo a avaliação do desenho dos perfis para adequar o processo VEC e de adesão de paineis estruturais. Desenvolvi diversos "Bonding Centers", e o canal de distribuição para o mercado de construção e de Industria do metal em várias áreas transversais com as soluções 3M.I started my career at 3M as a specialist for the construction market, where I developed specialized bonding centers for façades and panels. The role included training and developing, together with the engineering teams, façade and panel projects with structural bonding subject to loads. These projects had the specificity of complying with an ETA (European Technical Assessment ETA-09/0024), I led the largest projects in Portugal and some abroad in conjunction with the largest companies in the sector, collaborating not only on the technical manuals in the engineering projects, but also developing the technical specifications together with the companies, carrying out the load calculations and evaluating the design of the profiles to adapt the VEC process and the bonding of structural panels. I also developed several "Bonding Centers", and the distribution channel for the construction market and the metal industry in various cross-cutting areas with 3M solutions.

Nesta posição, tive a oportunidade de desenvolver o negócio do canal interno e externo de distribuição de Tintas para o mercado da construção civil e também o de exportação. Estive envolvido na implementação dos equipamentos de coloração e responsabilidade de implementação dos planos de marketing para o canal interno, assim como o desenvolvimento da equipa de lojas.In this position, I had the opportunity to develop the business of the internal and external distribution channels for paints for the construction market and also for exports.
