Speech Disorders and Technology Lab

We are an amazing team of High School volunteers are committed to finding new ways to interact with the elderly. We take our convictions and turn them into action. Our mission is to virtually create cross-generational relationships across the USA, between senior citizens in long-term care facilities (LTCs) and teens who care about their communities. As a virtual initiative, we have video calls between teens and seniors that revolve around the life experiences of the seniors, as well as set up games that provide further entertainment for them. We believe that the cross-generational relationships that are built through virtual discussions can provide positive learning experiences that change the way teens view the world.
