•Day to day operation of the assigned vessels to ensure that they were maintained and operated safely, effectively and reliably. I was directly responisble for the assigned ships' budgets.•Making sure that the maintenance, planning, execution and control was carried out according to company standards. Ensure conformance to Planned Maintenance System.•Ensure vessels comply with relevant International / National / Class regulations / requirements.•Monitor survey status of vessels, conduct periodic inspections of assigned vessels and follow up on identified defects.•Carry out supervision during Dry-Docking of assigned vessels with regard to planning, organising and completion of due repairs and surveys.

1.Routine maintenance, fault-finding and rectification of Ship’s Main and Auxiliary Engines, A/C & Refrigeration plants Electrical installations, Automated Machinery and Electronic Systems.2.Routine Maintenance of Deck Machinery Such as Electro-Hydraulic Cranes, Electro-Hydraulic Winches and Windlasses, Lifeboats and Derricks3.Planning, delegating and supervision of work amongst Technicians and supporting staff in his team as per Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS).4.Routine Overhauling and Re-calibration of existing Machinery as per new regulator and operational requirements.5.Supervision of Machinery Overhaul/Fabrication of Hull structures and pipelines and other associated repairs during Dry-Docking of vessels.6.Assisting with plan layout design/implementation and supervision for new Building of Vessels.7.Preparation of annual budget for Engine Department based on Planned Maintenance Systems and Regulatory Requirements such as Surveys/inspections.
