My business revolves around a 130 year old family fruit cake recipe.Grandma Deb's Gourmet is about bringing back old tradition and the true meaning of dark rum soaked fruit cake. My cakes are baked in Barrie, Ontario. Six years and almost fifteen thousand cakes later each pan is still baked with love by me Grandma Deb. I am very proud to be sharing a part of this delicious great, great grandma recipe with everyone. The cakes are cheese cloth wrapped ,soaked in an Island Rum, then put away in cool storage being turned approximately every three weeks. My cake was featured on CBC'S "Made In Canada" and has travelled through much of the world.

Excelled in providing passionate, informative care to residents and their families. I was a powerful resident advocate, providing exemplary care to clients and their families, introducing the availabitily of new patient-focused medical support systems, and making swift critical-thinking client and operational decisions. As team leader I directed a diverse group of RPN and PSW employees ensuring sufficient nursing coverage at all times to support the care and well-being of 90+ residents.
