I took an 18-month career break after leaving my last role for the purpose of spending time with my kids, focusing on my own personal health and well-being, and figuring out what I want my next professional chapter to look like.

I joined the BestLife executive team after they had raised Series B funding for the purpose of expanding their successful concierge preventive health medicine brand, Cenegenics, into down-market/digital-first offerings. I wore a number of hats while at BestLife, including acting as COO for startup brand, Apricot, and leading executive communications for the broader organization.

I was a leader on the Well-being Transformation leadership team, a startup organization within CVS Health driving the movement to fundamentally reframe how our enterprise products, services, and experiences will empower people to proactively manage all dimensions of their well-being. I was responsible for leading go-to-market strategy for our B2B product offering.

I was initially hired as chief of staff to a newly appointed Chief Marketing Officer, with a focus on strategic projects, leadership operations, and executive communications. I evolved the mandate over two years to serve as functional chief culture and business operations officer for the centralized 500-person marketing organization.

In this role, I had strategic and execution accountability for a differentiated, engaging digital clinical offering for Aetna’s next-generation health plan business (piloted on the Affordable Care Act public exchanges).

I drove the pilot and commercialization plan for CarePass, a digital-first corporate wellness platform, for Aetna plan sponsor business.

I was responsible for managing delivery, implementation, and account management of the Medallia enterprise customer experience management solution with marquee hospitality and healthcare clients.

The Cost-Effectiveness of Preventing AIDS Complications (CEPAC) team uses simulation models to evaluate clinical outcomes, costs, and cost-effectiveness of strategies for treating HIV/AIDS and its complications.In this role, I conducted analysis on a computerized state-transition, Monte Carlo-simulation of chronic HIV disease; collaborated on the research and writing of peer-reviewed academic papers; and managed a pilot study on long-term clinical outcomes in HIV-patients in sub-Saharan Africa. I was co-author on three peer-reviewed publications to come out of this work.
