• My responsibility includes collection of the due receivables, liaising with the Management, Sales and Revenue Team on the status of the allocated accounts.• My responsibilities also extend to preparation of ageing reports, Collection Reports, as well as forecasting of cash receipts from the receivables for the month and quarter.• I am also responsible for creation of invoices and work with the FP&A Team to ensure forecasted revenue gets billed and collected on time.• Ensuring payments ahead of deadlines and balanced accounts within agreed invoice timeframes.• Additionally my daily activities includes working on vendor supplier forms to set them up in our system , applying cash receipts for the day and maintaining the Cash and Forecast reports up to date. Working as an Individual Contributor.• Effective collaboration with sales teams to ensure outstanding debts were paid within agreed timeframes.• Oversaw portfolio of clients to determine payment and credit limits, reporting status of good and bad payers to management.• Negotiating re-payment plans by identifying cause of delinquent payments to assist recovery of debt, meeting realistic time frames.• Implemented procedures and policies to facilitate timely payments, maintaining high level of customer retention.• Investigated reports of late or unrecovered payments to identify circumstances and determine appropriate collection actions. Also, liaising with third party collection and legal team.• Analysed financial risk of collection plans and determined optimum approach to recover funds.
