Hi, I'm Runal Shrivastava, an environmental engineer and sustainability specialist based in Dallas, TX.What I Do: I tackle challenges that disrupt communities and the environment by implementing natural and engineering solutions. My projects are all centered around a common goal: minimizing the adverse impacts of human-nature interactions. Currently, my focus is on flood risk management—simulating floodplains across the US and educating communities and government bodies about their flood vulnerabilities.Background:I was born and raised in the industrial township of Bhilai, India. My journey in environmental engineering began in Pilani, where I earned my BEng in Civil Engineering, and continued in Austin, where I completed my MS in Environmental and Water Resource Engineering. My passion for sustainability has driven me to work across various industries, gaining experience in water resource engineering, hydraulic modeling, life cycle assessment, environmental impact assessment, sustainable energy and water systems, spatial analysis, waste management, carbon footprinting, and solar technology.If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
