Project PINK BLUE - Health & Psychological Trust Centre is a cancer fighting organization engaged in cancer awareness, treatment support, professional education for doctors & nurses, research, provision of free cancer screenings and fundraising for cancer patients. In 2015, we launched Nigeria’s first Patient Navigation Programme (PNP) with support from Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) & Pfizer Oncology. Worked on DFID funded HIV/AIDs Television series known as Wetin Dey. It is a ground breaking TV drama series by the BBC World Service Trust(now known as BBC Media Action). The underlying message of the series was to create HIV awareness amongst 15-35 year old. The drama played out around 4 main story lines. . Production crew were brought from the UK for the first few months to train the local talent. The end result is an excellent example of how entertainment can be used successfully to educate. The series was so successful the BBCWST have taken the template to Egypt.
