My tasks include:- roadmapping, budgeting and monitoring costs in collaboration with other Solution Managers- collecting requirements, defining user journeys and collaborating with stakeholders- specifying technical implementation and integration tasks- allocating resources and leading the agile web development done by a distributed subcontractor team- participating in Quality Risk Analysis specification, acceptance and regression testing- continuously delivering new functionality and enhancements via the cloud solutions to end users of Tekla software products.I am also participating in activities related to:- data privacy, GDPR compliance, cyber security and hosting solutions utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS)- maintaining the availability monitoring and outage alerting for all Tekla Online services- 24/7 operations management and incident management- ISO 27001 certification of Tekla Online services- continuous cost follow-up and optimization of hosting costs.Recently, I have been involved in various AI initiatives exploring generative AI solutions for providing enhanced self-service support solutions to end users.

As Solution Manager of the Tekla User Assistance web service, my responsibility included:- roadmapping, budgeting and monitoring costs- collecting requirements, defining user journeys and collaborating with stakeholders- specifying technical implementation tasks- leading the agile web development performed by the subcontractor team- participating in acceptance and regression testing- ensuring security and compliance of the entire solution- continuously delivering new functionality and more support content to Tekla Structures end users- expanding the web service to include the support content of other Tekla software productsMy Solution Manager responsibility was extended to include the Tekla Discussion Forum community service in 2014. My main objective was to renew the service and find a long-lasting technological solution which could be easily extended to, in the future, serve all users of Tekla software products.My main achievement was to successfully deliver a completely renewed Tekla Discussion Forum service in January 2015 and thus ensure the continuation of this vital support service for end users of Tekla software products.

(Tekla Oyj was acquired by Trimble Navigation in July 2011)In my main role as Project Manager, my objective was to deliver a new central web-based support content hub for Tekla Structures users.My tasks included:- collaborating with engineering and support teams to collect requirements- specifying functionality and innovating processes to be implemented- defining and following the budget of the implementation project- introducing Drupal*, as the technical solution for the new generation of Tekla’s web services- introducing a Drupal agency as subcontractor for implementing and maintaining the new web service- leading the web development using agile scrum methodology- launching the new Tekla User Assistance for Tekla Structures web service including all the multi lingual support content in March 2013In my secondary role as Software Specialist, my tasks included:- working as a support representative in 2nd line global helpdesk team for Tekla Structures- investigating and troubleshooting customer queries and collaborating with local 1st line helpdesk teams- establishing a process for creating, managing and publishing knowledge base articles- analyzing customer queries in order to determine the need for additional documentation or new knowledge base articlesMy responsibilities also included working as system administrator for the product documentation solution which was in use throughout the company.My main achievement was to successfully drive the implementation and deliver the new Tekla User Assistance for Tekla Structures web service. My tasks included:- leading the team responsible for Tekla Structures product guides and learning material- converting multilingual style-based documentation into structured re-usable XML-based documentation- implementing a new localization process for the massive set of software documentation- implementing new functionality for context-sensitive documentation integrated with the UI of the softwareMy main achievement was to successfully roll out the DITA XML standard to the multilingual Tekla Structures product documentation and streamline the localization process.

My tasks included:- establishing processes for technical documentation and localization- innovating and implementing a new structured documentation and localization solution utilizing DITA*- converting style-based software documentation into structured, re-usable, XML-based documentation- creating, translating and releasing product guides included in Tekla’s Infra & Energy software releases- testing and documenting new features in the software solutionsMy main achievement was innovating and successfully, in collaboration with an external consultant, implementing a new revolutionary documentation and localization solution based on the DITA XML standard. This made it possible to cost effectively update, manage and continuously publish a large set of multilingual product documentation. The solution laid the foundation for taking the DITA XML standard into use for all the product documentation within the company during the following years.*DITA = the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) XML standard is defined and maintained by the OASIS DITA Technical Committee
