As the Chief Technical Officer I am in charge of developing the technical solution for large scale DAC systems including leading the team and partners to achieve a compact and efficient design.

I had the profit and loss responsibility for a new product line called LNG liquefaction plants comprising 17 people, which mainly are engineers. I have set up a team that has established a strategy with a clear business plan for how to develop the new product line. In parallel the product line has built an opportunity pipeline from scratch to a current healthy list of sales prospects. We have also set up plans for how to handle work peaks by adding flexibility via external partners.I have focused on leadership by developing a good working environment through involvement and transparency, which has given significant enthusiasm in the group. I have emphasised on building competency in the group through training programs and on-the job training.

I was second in charge of the Midstream business unit supporting all the products in marketing and sales work but had an extended responsibility for LNG receiving terminals. The position included developing the correct technology and documentation for complicated projects such as LNG terminals and reliquefaction systems from a technical, safety and competitive point of view. I was central throughout the sales process, final negotiations and closing of the Tornio LNG Terminal contract for the value of 100 MEUR. The project manager for that project reported to me.

Refrigeration Engineering is a contractor specialising in design and manufacturing of custom made refrigeration systems for the oil, gas, petro-chemical industries. The position was central in the company and had a place in the company Strategic Management Team. It included engineering management, marketing, sales and contract negotiations of custom designed refrigeration systems in Europe, Middle East and Korea.

I was promoted from Engineering Manager to Project Manager for a project worth more than NOK 600 million. The project scope of supply included system design, detail engineering, supply of equipment, on-site commissioning and all required documentation for 11 LNG carriers. The project team comprise 20 people in the office and 6 on site commissioning engineers.I initially held the position as Engineering Manager for a large contract including the supply of LNG reliquefaction systems for 21 LNG carriers worth more than NOK 1.2 billion. The position included directing and overseeing all engineering where coordination and making decisions across all disciplines were part of the daily activities. I was also involved in a range of sales activities for LPG, VOC and LNG applications.

I was initially employed as the refrigeration specialist but promoted to project manager for a large HVAC project on an offshore platform for the South Pars project in Iran for MNOK 20.

I was promoted from Project Manager to Contracts Manager in 1998 reporting directly to the Managing Director. I oversaw two project managers, 8 project engineers and several draftsmen. I was responsible for the execution and completion of all projects at hand, where the project sizes varied between NOK 2 million to 13 million.I was initially employed as a project engineer but was a Project Manager for most of the time.

This position included the preparation and supervision of maintenance contracts for both industrial and commercial buildings located in Sydney. I continued this job part time after moving to Refrigeration Engineering Pty Ltd.
