Just retired from the military after 40 years of service as officer in a variety of Electronic Warfare (EW) related positions within Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF). My career has given me wide technical experience related to F-16 Radar/EW/Weapon systems avionics, as well as research, development and validation of operational capabilities for military platforms.Many years of service as EW air crew, EW systems programmer, fighter air wing EW officer and combat survival instructor has provided me with critical operational experience and knowledge.I have gained international experience from duty as tactical evaluator of NATO high readiness forces, and as EW support to combat missions during coalition operations. The latest portion of my duty was 8 years of service for Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency responsible for definition and management of multinational EW acquisition project under F-35 Joint Program Office (Washington DC).Finally I gained some higher leadership experience from 5 years of Air Force Staff duty related to national EW authority and management as head of Norwegian EW Centre.You might say I would know how to spell EW.Currently engaged part time by RNoAF as acqusition project advisor.
