About Rune Holmen

As head of maritime transport at Enova SF I am involved in the development and operation of financial support schemes for reducing climate gas emissions primarily from the Norwegian maritime sector.My educational bacground is as an MSC in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in thermodynamics. Upon graduation I gained experience from several Norwegian industrial companies in the 1990s and early 2000s. In 2005 I obtained an MBA in technology innovation and change management from IAE in Aix-en-Provence.After my MBA studies I have mainly focused on renewable energy and industry.As a partner at Pareto Securities at the height of the financial crisis in 2008 - 2011, I advised companies and owners during M&As, IPOs and other issues related to capital structure and strategy.Specialties: Corporate FinanceRenewable EnergyM&AsEvalutation of industrial investments.Investment analysis.Initiation of change management projects in industrial companies.Thermodynamics/Chemical engineering
