Working as a freelance contractor in the EMEA Web Services department of the world’s leading commercial property advisor, responsible for evolving existing web applications and integrating systems to improve business processes. In this role I was also responsible for all new projects taking them through the full development life cycle; from requirements gathering through to development and testing. The application was based on Oracle Portal, but built using custom Portlets – developed in both PL/SQL and Java through the Oracle Portal Development Kit. The application consisted of over 200 PL/SQL Portlets and 30 Java Portlets. Also included 40 Oracle Reports and Oracle Discoverer workbooks and End User Layer.* Lead Developer for bespoke system allowing the client to maintain share allocations and share dividend efficiently and accurately. Part of employment with 2e2 also included supporting live systems for 2e2’s Managed Services including finance systems for Hitachi Capital Finance and CBRE Property Portal.
