I led a team building technology to help Andela developers delight our partners around the world.Highlights:- Built out a team of 4 PMs and 12 engineers - Launched 2 game changing applications for Andela's training program. The second one helped to reduce the cost of training by 10x.- Worked with execs and VPs to help the company navigate it's transition from a training company to an engineering services company.

Created the initial version of the Classadoo digital classroom in 2015 to help me with a class I was teaching part time. Since then, with the help of a great team, used our tools to teach 300+ students around the world. Bootstrapped the company to $150K annual revenue and 15 employees before being acquired by Andela in 2018. Highlights include:- A video and real time data system that works through the Chinese firewall, to reach students in Beijing and Shanghai.- A real time teacher dashboard that allows 1 teacher to teach 15 students at once, with the quality of a 1:1 tutor.- Free remote coding bootcamps in Pakistan that helped 30 underemployed women get hired at tech jobs.- 100 hours of free content and tools for any teacher to use in their own classroom.- Daily free, drop-in classes for any level student

Created a summer camp, after school program and 2 week intensive course for middle and high schoolers, to help them launch their own company. Helped 150 students make 10K+ in revenue. Now a nonprofit partnering with one of the nation's largest after school program providers. Taught Computer Science and Assistive Technology Design to 9th - 12th graders. Had a great time, definitely would teach again!

Worked as a backend engineer on high scale systems, for various teams:- Built a backend to serve real time analytics for brands and celebrities. - Worked with an awesome team to rewrite the backend for Direct Messages to enable groups, read receipts, and other modern features.- Rewrote the permissions service for Direct Messages to allow for more flexibility in terms of who can you can DM.

Created and taught the school's first student taught course. The course, Olin.js (http://olinjs.github.io/), continues to be taught, entirely by students, today!
